Description

This committee was formed in response to our community’s need for more proactive management and policy development pertaining to our local domestic animal population and it’s challenges, including support and guidance for animal owners.

The Animal Welfare Committee will engage our community directly to establish needs, review current policies, work to develop best practices and policies through direct engagement with pertinent agencies and dialogue with successful model communities, and submit findings and recommendations to City Council as needed.
