1. I have received a traffic citation, do I have to go to court?

Traffic citations can be paid in full prior to court date with no court appearance required, if payment arrangements are needed a court appearance is required.

2. What citations does the Altus Municipal Court process?

We only process citations for the Altus Police Department, contact the Jackson County Courthouse at 482-0448 for citations written from any other agency.

3. What forms of payments are accepted?

We accept all forms of payment in person, and credit card payments can be received by phone.
