Do not place the following items in residential containers or alleys. Individuals, businesses, and contractors are responsible for transporting these materials directly to the sanitary landfill:

Prohibited Items:

• Items too heavy or bulky for safe pickup by City staff or equipment

• Any bulk trash or debris

• Construction debris (sheet rock, bricks, boards, carpeting, paneling, fixtures, etc.)

• Dead animals or animal waste that is not securely bagged

• Dirt, rocks, bricks, steel, or masonry materials

• Roofing shingles (any type – wood, asphalt, tile)

• Rugs or carpet

• Tires

• Toys and play structures (e.g., kiddie pools, playhouses, swing sets)

• Tree limbs, stumps, shrubs, or excessive yard clippings
