Citizens, local businesses and other organizations are highly encouraged to sign up in order to receive notifications and alerts.

Other events that affect the general public and local organizations include:

• Electric service outages or prolonged service interruptions

• Public drinking water related issues such as water main breaks or safety

• Natural gas line ruptures or prolonged leaks

• Major fires

• Major roadway closure or transportation related issues
