Over two days in May, Altus Parks & Recreation welcomed 1st and 2nd grade students from Altus Primary School to Hightower Park for a special outdoor experience.
Students participated in the Altus Public Library’s Story Walk, an interactive trail that allows children to enjoy reading while staying active. In addition to exploring the story, the kids took part in a fun craft activity, making memories along the way.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Southern Prairie Library System for providing a brand-new story along the trail. It was a big hit with the students!
Altus Parks & Recreation had a wonderful time hosting these young learners and looks forward to seeing more smiling faces at the park again soon.
