On August 13, 2025, the District Attorney’s Office led a specialized training for Altus Police Officers and surrounding agencies on effective courtroom testimony. The course covered courtroom preparedness, clear and concise report writing, and strategies for responding to common defense attorney tactics.

The training concluded with mock trial scenarios that allowed participants to apply their skills in a realistic setting.
