Be Winter Ready at Home:

  • Seal drafts around doors and windows with weatherstripping or caulk.

  • Wrap outdoor faucets and insulate exposed pipes.

  • Have your heating system serviced and replace filters.

  • Keep flashlights, batteries, and carbon monoxide detectors on hand.

  • Stock up on three days’ worth of essentials.

Know Before You Go:
When traveling, keep your gas tank at least half full and pack a winter emergency kit with blankets, snacks, and a phone charger. Check road and weather conditions before heading out, and let someone know your route and arrival time.

Preparation and awareness make all the difference when winter weather hits. A little effort today means peace of mind tomorrow.
