Dear City of Altus Utility Customer,

Your sewer charge has been updated for the coming year. A

change will be reflected on your utility bill beginning with the May

2026 billing period.

Sewer charges are calculated annually based on your average

water usage from October through March. Because each

customer's usage varies, your charge will be specific to your

household and may differ from your neighbor's.

Rates effective May 2026 (inside city limits):

Base rate: $14.42/month

Usage rate: $2.47 per 1,000 gallons
