Altus Splash Pad Opens for the 2026 Season May 22

The City of Altus is excited to announce the opening of the Altus Splash Pad for the 2026 summer season beginning Thursday, May 22.


The splash pad, located at 601 E Katy Drive next to the City Gym, will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. throughout the summer season.


Families are invited to enjoy a fun, safe, and refreshing way to cool off during the warmer months. The splash pad features interactive water elements designed for children of all ages and provides a free outdoor recreation option for residents and visitors.


City officials encourage parents and guardians to supervise children at all times and help keep the facility clean and enjoyable for everyone.
