The City of Altus is now accepting applications for seasonal and full-time Grounds Maintenance positions at Altus Air Force Base. If you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and want to take pride in maintaining one of our most important sites, this could be the opportunity for you. Job duties include mowing, trimming, and maintaining grounds and landscaped areas; operating mowers, weed-eaters, tractors, and other outdoor equipment; performing equipment checks and basic maintenance; clearing debris; maintaining work zones; and supporting project-based tasks as needed.
Applicants must have a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors. Base access background screening is required. Experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is preferred.
