Bulk Trash Update 4/9/25
The contractor has completed Zones 1 for the Bulk Trash Removal FY 24-25 cycle and started Zone 2. Zones 3, 4, 5 & 6 should put their items out now. Items to be picked up by flatbed service should be placed in the alley immediately adjacent to the resident's property line and should NOT be placed against, on top of or near a trash container or meter. Contractors for hire of any type are not allowed to put any items in the alley or containers. Updates are posted at https://www.altusok.gov/275/Bulk-Trash-Updates. If you have any questions about the Bulk Trash pick-up or if you think your items have been missed, please contact the Sanitation Department at 580-481-2251.

What You'll Do:
✔ Operate tractors, mowers, loaders, and other landscaping and maintenance equipment.
✔ Maintain parks, cemeteries, right-of-ways, and public grounds by mowing, trimming, planting, watering, and cleaning.
✔ Set up barricades and ensure safety around work sites.
✔ Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance tasks.
✔ Assist in construction, carpentry, painting, and other general maintenance activities as needed.
